Shipping

How much does shipping cost?

Nothing. Every order ships free to the 48 contiguous states, no minimum. Freight is built into the price you see, and there are no surprise fuel surcharges or accessorial fees at checkout. Liftgate service is included on every freight delivery.

How long does delivery take?

Standard freight is 12 to 25 business days from the day your order is confirmed. That includes 1 to 2 days of processing at the warehouse plus LTL transit. Orders shipping to a state near one of our warehouses usually land at the shorter end of the range. Use the delivery estimator on the shipping page to see your likely window.

Is there a faster option?

Yes. Express freight is a flat $480 per order and cuts transit to 5 to 15 business days. Your order jumps the processing queue and goes out on a priority lane with the carrier. Select it at checkout or call us to add it to an order that has not shipped yet.

Where do orders ship from?

From whichever of our 6 US warehouses is closest to you and has the item in stock: Melbourne, FL (HQ), Phoenix, AZ, Ontario, CA, Dallas, TX, Savannah, GA and Allentown, PA. If your nearest warehouse is out of stock we ship from the next closest rather than hold your order.

Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or Canada?

Not at this time. Free freight and Express are available in the 48 contiguous states only. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories or outside the United States.

How does freight delivery work?

Heavy equipment ships LTL on a pallet or skid. The carrier calls the phone number on your order to book a delivery appointment. The driver lowers the freight to the ground with a liftgate and delivers to the curb or the end of a truck-accessible driveway. Drivers do not bring equipment inside a building or garage, and someone 18 or older must be present to inspect and sign.

Will I get tracking?

Yes. Once the warehouse hands your order to the carrier you get an email with the carrier name and PRO or tracking number. Freight tracking updates at terminal scans rather than in real time, so a gap of a day or two between updates is normal. Links to every carrier we use are on the track order page.

What if my equipment arrives damaged?

Inspect the shipment before you sign. Photograph any dents, tears, broken banding or crushed packaging, write the damage on the delivery receipt, and email the photos to contact@xautotools.com within 24 hours. We file the claim with the carrier and arrange repair, replacement parts or a full replacement at no cost to you. Signing a clean receipt on a damaged shipment makes the claim much harder.

Equipment

Should I buy a zero turn mower or a lawn tractor?

A zero turn steers with two lap bars that drive each rear wheel separately, so it pivots in place and trims around trees and beds quickly. A lawn tractor steers with a wheel, behaves more predictably on slopes and can pull carts and spreaders. Flat lawns with many obstacles favor a zero turn. Hills and towing favor a tractor.

How do I choose the right deck size for my property?

Deck size is the cutting width. A wider deck covers more ground per pass and shortens mowing time on open acreage. It also needs wider gates, more room between beds and a bigger storage space. Measure your narrowest gate and your shed or garage opening, then compare them with the overall machine width on the product page, not just the deck.

What does EFI mean on a mower listing?

EFI stands for electronic fuel injection. Sensors and a small computer meter fuel to the engine instead of a carburetor. In practice that means easier starts, steadier power in thick grass and on hills, and less trouble from stale fuel. The Cub Cadet PRO Z 960L EFI and PRO Z 960S EFI both use it. Carbureted engines are simpler to work on.

When is a walk behind mower a better choice than a rider?

On smaller lawns, narrow side yards, steep banks and areas broken up by beds or fences, a walk behind mower is easier to maneuver and to store. Once mowing with one takes well over an hour, or the lot runs into acreage, a riding mower, lawn tractor or zero turn usually saves enough time to justify the larger purchase.

When does a compact tractor or Gator XUV make sense?

When the work goes beyond mowing. A compact tractor takes implements like loaders, tillers and box blades for grading, moving material and cutting fields. A full size Gator XUV is a utility vehicle for hauling tools, feed, firewood and fencing supplies across a property. Many hobby farms end up with both: one to work the ground and one to carry the load.

Which equipment brands can I find in your catalog?

We carry John Deere, Cub Cadet and Husqvarna on the outdoor power side, plus Dolphin. Each brand has its own search page, so you can see everything from one maker in a single list. Start on the Brands page, or call us if you want help comparing similar models from two different brands before you decide.

What routine maintenance keeps a riding mower running well?

Check engine oil and tire pressure before each use, keep the blades sharp and balanced, and clear grass buildup from under the deck after mowing. Replace the air filter, oil filter and spark plug on the intervals in your owner's manual, and grease every fitting it lists. A dull blade tears grass instead of cutting it and makes the engine work harder.

How should I store a mower, snow blower or pressure washer off season?

Add fuel stabilizer and run the engine for a few minutes, or run the tank dry, so old fuel does not gum up the fuel system. Clean the machine, change the oil and keep the battery on a maintainer. On a pressure washer, drain the pump and hoses, and add pump protectant if it will sit where temperatures drop below freezing.

Can someone help me compare models before I place an order?

Yes. Call +1 (620) 400-0129, Mon-Fri 9AM-6PM EST, or email contact@xautotools.com. Tell us your lot size, terrain, gate widths and any jobs beyond mowing, and we will walk through deck size, engine type and features on the models you are weighing. If a smaller or simpler machine fits your property, we will tell you that too.

Financing

Do you offer financing?

Yes, through third-party lending partners. Financing is available on bulk orders of 2 or more units and on full-price (non-discounted) purchases. Applications are reviewed in 1 to 2 business days. Details and the application are on the financing page.

Can I finance a single discounted machine?

No. Financing applies to bulk orders (2+ units) and full-price orders only. A single unit bought at a sale or combo price is not eligible. If you need one financed machine, ask us about the full-price option for that model.

Does applying affect my credit?

The initial review is a soft inquiry that does not affect your score. A hard inquiry only happens if you accept an offer and the lender finalizes the agreement. Final rates and terms are set by the lender, not by xautotools.

Do you accept business or fleet accounts?

Yes. Landscapers, contractors, rental yards, dealers and shops buying multiple units can apply under the business name. We also accept purchase orders from established businesses and government entities on approved credit; email contact@xautotools.com to set up terms.

Warranty

What warranty comes with my equipment?

Every machine carries a 1-year warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship, parts and labor. The warranty can be extended by 1, 2 or 3 additional years; contact us for pricing before or within 30 days of delivery.

How do I file a warranty claim?

Email contact@xautotools.com with your order number, the model and serial number, a description of the fault and photos or a short video. You get a response within 1 to 2 business days with the next step, which is usually shipping a replacement part or authorizing a local repair.

What does the warranty not cover?

Normal wear items (tracks, tires, blades, teeth, filters, belts, batteries, fluids), damage from misuse, overloading or accidents, lack of maintenance, unauthorized modifications, cosmetic wear and any unit with an altered or missing serial number. Engines are additionally covered by the engine manufacturer where applicable.

Is the warranty transferable if I sell the machine?

The standard 1-year warranty stays with the machine and transfers to a new owner within the original term. Email contact@xautotools.com with the serial number and the new owner's contact details so we can update the record.

Who does warranty repairs?

For most claims we ship replacement parts direct to you. Where labor is required we authorize a local mechanic or equipment shop and cover the approved labor cost. Engine issues can be handled at any authorized dealer of the engine manufacturer under the engine warranty.

Returns

What is your return policy?

You have 15 days from delivery to request a return. The equipment must be unused, unfilled with fuel and in its original packaging, and you need a Return Authorization (RA) number from us before shipping anything back. Full details are on the returns page.

Who pays return shipping?

For a change of mind or wrong-size return, the customer pays the return freight. If the item arrived damaged or is defective, we arrange and pay for the return and the replacement. Return freight on heavy equipment typically runs several hundred dollars, so call us first if you are unsure about a model.

How long does a refund take?

Once the returned item is received and inspected at the warehouse, refunds are issued within 5 to 7 business days to the original payment method. Your bank may take a further 2 to 5 days to post it.

Can I return a machine I have already used?

No. Returns are accepted on unused equipment only. Once a machine has been fueled, run or put to work it is no longer eligible for return, though it remains fully covered by the 1-year warranty for any defect.

Is there a restocking fee?

Not if the item comes back complete, unused and in its original packaging. If packaging, manuals, hardware or accessories are missing, a restocking fee of up to 20% may be deducted to cover repackaging and replacement parts.

Ordering

What payment methods do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal and bank wire transfer. Wire is recommended for orders over $10,000 and for business purchases; email us for wire instructions. Financed orders are paid by the lender directly.

Do you charge sales tax?

Sales tax is collected where required by law based on the delivery address, and is shown before you confirm the order. Tax-exempt businesses, farms and resellers can email a valid exemption certificate to contact@xautotools.com before ordering and we will remove the tax.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Yes, within 24 hours of placing it, at no charge. Call +1 (620) 400-0129 or email with your order number and the change. After 24 hours the order may already be palletized or on a truck; changes are then subject to the return policy and any freight already incurred.

Do you accept business orders and purchase orders?

Yes. Businesses, municipalities, schools and government agencies can order by purchase order on approved credit, and we provide W-9s, formal quotes and invoices on request. Volume pricing is available on 2 or more units. Email contact@xautotools.com with your requirements to get started.

How do I get a written quote?

Email the model(s), quantity and delivery ZIP code to contact@xautotools.com, or call +1 (620) 400-0129. You get a formal quote with pricing, freight (free) and estimated delivery window within one business day, valid for 14 days.

Still deciding?

Tell us the acreage, the terrain and what you tow with. We will tell you which machine fits.
