Atco GT 38H Twin Ride on Mower
Description
The Atco GT 38H Twin is a ride-on mower sharing its chassis with the GT 30H but stepping up to a Stiga ST 550 twin-cylinder engine, which runs noticeably smoother and quieter than a single under load. The 98cm twin-blade cutter deck carries anti-scalp wheels to protect the turf over uneven ground and produces a genuinely good finish rather than merely cutting grass. Clippings go into a generous 240 litre collection box fitted with a buzzer that tells the driver when it is full - useful, because from the seat you cannot see the box filling. Blades engage and disengage at the flick of a switch through an electronic clutch, with no belt-tension lever to fight. Cutting height offers seven pre-set stages from 25 to 80mm. The hydrostatic transmission makes it straightforward to drive on the foot pedal, with no gear changing, which is what most owners want from a ride-on.
