Description
The Intex Ultra XTR rectangular pool set measures 24ft x 12ft x 52in and pairs a gray outer liner with a blue tile-print inner liner, which reads a good deal more like a built-in pool than the usual above-ground look. Construction is laminated PVC siding with three separate material layers over a rust-resistant metal frame whose beams and joints snap together without tools - ready for water in about 60 minutes. Filtration is by sand rather than cartridge, which is the practical choice at this size: routine backwashing is all it needs, and the sand itself is only replaced every five years or so, against cartridges replaced several times a season. The pump uses hydro aeration technology to improve circulation and water clarity while increasing negative ions in the water. The set ships with the sand filter pump, ladder, ground cloth, cover and a robot vacuum.
